The Senate Productivity and Quality Award (SPQA) for Virginia’ annual 2-day “Forum for Excellence” will be September 14-15, 2010, in Richmond, Virginia at the Holiday Inn Select, Richmond-Koger South Conference Center. 

 

September 14^th includes two concurrent workshops on: the Baldrige criteria, and on preparing an award application and a Discovery self-assessment. A meeting for the Board of Examiners will follow, and the evening will conclude with a Recognition Ceremony for the SPQA Community.

 

September 15^th features 12 concurrent sessions, and two keynote speakers: Larry Potterfield, CEO MidwayUSA, a 2009 Baldrige recipient, and John Fitzgerald, CEO of INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital and Senior Vice President of the INOVA Health System. The day concludes with the Annual Awards Ceremony, and the Honorable William Bolling, LT. Governor of Virginia, will present the awards.
