Is anyone wondering what can be done to encourage organizations and businesses to act in an ethically and morally responsible manner?  ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, is about to publish such a document. ISO 26000 is a set of guidelines to promote Social Responsibility in both the public and private sectors. Guidelines were developed with input from consumers, industry, labor, government and non-government organizations. These guidelines are in the final draft stage and are targeted to be published in 2010.
