We are introducing a new feature in our newsletter to be called "Member Spotlight" which will introduce a member via the newsletter to the section. To be a Spotlighted Member you need to volunteer by submitting the linked questionnaire via email to Debbie Meeks, our Section Chair, or bring it to a regular member meeting. This is another way that we can improve our networking for our membership. Thank you for your participation.
Section 1128 was founded in May 1991 by fourteen members of the Hampton Roads ASQC Section 1114, because of geographical challenges getting between the "Southside" and the "Peninsula". The ASQ Tidewater Section serves the communities of Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and Suffolk. We also have members from as far away as Elizabeth City, NC and Franklin, VA. Over the years Section 1128 has grown to over 140 members. These individuals form a tight knit community in promoting the ideals of ASQ. ASQ Tidewater, whose motto is "Enhancing the Art and Science of Quality", is proud to be a member of the International ASQ Organization.
